Robbin Owens, a 2012 graduate of our Transitional Housing program, shares her story of homelessness.
We are so grateful for Robbin who has stayed connected with Door of Hope. She wanted to pass on what she learned to other struggling single mothers so she facilitated a single-mom support group for Homelessness Prevention clients. “I truly would like to thank Door of Hope for the love and compassion that was extended to me and my son along with all the children there. I am so thankful and look forward to giving back any way I can.” Later she served as a Pathway Intern in this same program and is now a permanent member of the team as our Children’s Advocate! Welcome, Robbin!
