Dear Door of Hope,

Last night was a brisk 39° so I adjusted the thermostat to 77° to make sure everyone stayed warm throughout the night. I got up this morning and made myself a cup of coffee, and enjoyed it in my living room only wearing my robe and house shoes. Today will consist of more unpacking of boxes, organizing, and reassembling. Yesterday as we opened boxes and were reunited with the things we had been without for over two years I began to thank God for the journey.

When the sheriffs escorted us out of our beautiful apartment in November 2017, the Lord already new where my family would be TODAY, and He in His infinite wisdom chose all of you there at Door of Hope to be apart of our growth, our healing, and empowerment. To say thank you seems so inadequate, but if I had 10,000 tongues I can’t thank you enough. Merry Christmas, and God bless you!

Love, Erika & Family

P.S. Please thank Larry for the bed, it’s really comfortable; and the dresser for our son’s room looks so good!
