Door of Hope's mission statement is to "Equip Homeless Families to Rebuild Their Lives." The emphasis is on the word “equip.” Door of Hope is not a Band-Aid, we are an organization that transforms the lives of families and children but by equipping them with the skills necessary to maintain long term success. Our goal is to break the cycle of homelessness with every family that enters our program.
We empower the families we serve to emotionally, psychologically, and physically, to take control of their lives and build a better future for themselves and their children.
By providing case management, counseling, life skills classes, and much more, we equip our families with tools necessary for them to rebuild their lives.
Most families enter our doors broken and hurting, but by empowering, equipping every family that has come entered the program, hundreds of lives have been transformed.
